Rates per car load: 

Standard rate:  $3.00 per mile. 

Airport rate: $2.75 per mile

Outside our service area round trip medical runs will receive a 10% discount off the standard rate and the first hour of wait time at no charge.

Minimum fare: $18.00 which is up to 6 miles of travel

Long distance response fee: Trips not beginning or ending in the regular service area of Rogersville will be assessed a LDRF to accommodate the excessive miles involved. This LDRF begins at $30.00. 

Morristown Special Circumstances: We will be conducting a trial effort to reach out to Morristown. To promote this effort, a waiver of the LDRF can be secured by making a trip reservation by 6:00 pm the day before the trip, or earlier. The scheduled trip must take place between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm Monday through Friday. 

Standard wait time: $0.75 per minute or $45.00 per hour. On regular trips the first 5 minutes of wait time is free. A cumulative clock will run over multiple stops with the clock being paused during travel between stops. The clock will be run while the customer is out of the vehicle or while stopped for an activity such as waiting in line at drive-throughs, or in heavy traffic at arenas, airports, etc. where the destination has been reached but time is required to complete the trip with loading or unloading. 

Airport pickup wait time: Wait time will begin  30 minutes after the flight is scheduled to land. Scheduled landing time is determined by flight status check at the time the taxi is dispatched to the airport. 

Reservations, Deposits, and Cancellations:

Long trip reservations: Reservations for trips over 20 miles will require a $20.00 nonrefundable deposit to guarantee the reservation. 

Long response pickup: Pickups requiring the taxi to travel outside the normal service area will require a deposit of 50% of the scheduled fare. This deposit becomes nonrefundable when the taxi is dispatched. 

Third-party bookings: Pickups booked by one person for another when the person taking the trip is not available to speak to us will require 100% of the scheduled fare as a deposit to be booked. This deposit becomes nonrefundable when the taxi is dispatched. 

Cancelations: Cancellations can be accepted before the taxi is dispatched. Refundable portions of deposits will be refunded within 3-5 business days. 

Cancelations after the taxi is dispatched: After the taxi is dispatched, the customer 'no shows', or refusal at pick up, will be classified as a "False Start". False starts will be noted under the customer's profile. Customers will be required to make a 100% nonrefundable deposit for any future bookings after two false starts.

Payment links and receipts: We can send payment links and receipts by text or email. 

Cleaning fees: $250.00 for cleaning and $200.00 per day the taxi is out of service until cleaned will be assessed to anyone soiling, causing odors, spills, smoking or vaping, or otherwise rendering a taxi unusable. 

Damage fees: The cost of repairs and $200.00 per day the taxi is out of service will be applied to anyone causing damage to the taxi. 

Returned items: Items left behind in a taxi become a burden for the taxi to return to the customer. These items will be retained for two weeks and then become the property of Roadranger Taxi Service to sell, keep, or dispose of at our discretion. Items can be returned to the customer by: 

- Taxi delivery at the regular taxi fare rates

- Upon the customer hiring the taxi for another trip where the item and customer can be reunited at customer pickup.

- The customer can have us ship the item. Mileage, shop time, and shipping rates will apply. 

Service animals and pets:

 Properly certified service animals are welcome.

Comfort or support animals, even with letters, and household pets will be welcome when in a proper pet carrier or cage. Owner's characterizations of their animals as well-behaved are not sufficient. A leash alone is not sufficient.
